Dr. Dean Aslinia is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and an approved Counselor Supervisor by the Board of Examiners for Professional Counselors in the State of Texas. Dr. Dean’s educational background include a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, and a second master’s and doctoral degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He specializes in marriage and family therapy and sexual related issues. He has focused his post doctoral trainings in working with problematic sexual behaviors, sexual addiction, and compulsions. Dr. Dean’s clinical background includes working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. For the past 8 years he has also been a graduate faculty member at 3 accredited universities. Dr. Aslinia is the Past-President of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors and continues to advocate for greater mental health access for all Texans.
